Brazil Plane Crashes into Residential Building leads to death of ten people on board.

Some events are unforeseen, especially when it comes to flight journeys. One such event is when a flight crashes. A similar incident happened when a small plane crashed into a place in outer Brazil, causing dozens of people to be injured and leading 10 people to die, as per the locals.

The Whole incident happened on Sunday Morning of December 22, 2024, when a small aircraft took off from Canela to Sao  Paulo State and was piloted by Luiz Claudio Galeazi, taking his family, including his wife, three daughters, 61-year-old members, and other family, members, and company employees were present on the plane when the whole incident occurred. According to the brazil's CivilDefense Agency said that it was a twin-engine Piper PA-42-1000 that collided with the chimney of a home and then the second floor of another home, which eventually led to the shop in a residential neighborhood of Gramado. 

Rio Grande do Sul Governor Eduardo Leite said that 17 on-ground people were injured, 12 of whom were still taking treatment, and Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, along with his nine family members was killed who was the CEO of Galeazzi's company, Galeazzi & Associados. The company officials posted on LinkedIn, sharing deep condolences by writing, "Luiz Galeazzi will be forever remembered for his dedication to his family and for his remarkable career as a leader of Galeazzi & Associados." They also added that "In this moment of immense pain, Galeazzi & Associados is deeply grateful for the expressions of solidarity and affection received from friends, colleagues, and the community. We also sympathize with all those affected by the accident in the region."

Gramado is where the accident took place. It falls in the Serra Gaucha mountains, which is quite popular among tourists, especially during Christmas vacations. Security cameras have filled the incident of how the small piper plane departing from Canela and crashed within a few minutes of departure. Several video footage has gone viral that show scenes of fire burning outside a building, the ground is all over scattered, and the sky is covered with ashes and fog. Authorities are still investigating the cause behind the tragedy. 

As soon as the incident was noticed by the news agencies, videos went viral on social media. The event also got the attention of the president of Brazil, who then sent their condolences to the families of the victims by writing a post on X. The Brazilian president stated, "I hope that the injured have a speedy recovery. The Air Force is investigating the causes of the accident, and the federal government is at the disposal of the state government and local authorities to clarify the situation as soon as possible."

Many X users share their feelings and emotions by writing on X. A user wrote, "My city is in mourning, after everything, we went through in Gramado and trying to get back on our feet, this tragedy has come along. The plane with registration PR-NDN that crashed on Av. Central in Gramado left the city in shock, it was carrying 9 people. May God comfort the families for this irreparable loss,"

This incidents has put Garmado on focus which was coovered in the lightings and decoration of christmas but suddently a few days before the celebrations, the disasters occured and hurt many locals. The town of Gramado was settled in the 19th century by a group of large number of immigrants of German and italian community. 

Similar kinds of plane crashes also happened in Brazil, where a passenger plane carrying 62 people met with a tragedy where no one was left alive outside of São Paulo.
